A 6ft 3in model who earns millions from her standout height has revealed she spends up to $10,000 a month on clothes simply because nothing fits her properly off the rack. Marie Temara, who has built a huge following online with 3.1 million fans on Instagram (@marietemara), says her towering frame makes shopping a constant battle.

Standard sizes rarely work for her, meaning regular shopping trips usually end in disappointment. “I’ll spend thousands online every month, but only three or four items fit properly,” she said. “Most things are too short or too tight, and I end up returning half of it. It’s so frustrating.”

To solve the problem, Marie now works with a personal designer who crafts custom pieces to her exact measurements but the luxury comes at a cost.

She often splurges thousands on individual gowns, with some dresses running her $5,000 each. “Every custom piece is a work of art. It fits perfectly, looks incredible, and makes me feel unstoppable,” she said. “Yes, it’s expensive, but it’s the only way I can feel both stylish and comfortable.”

Despite the hefty monthly price tag, the Florida-based model who brings in $10 million a year says the investment is worth it. “I’ve worn gowns that cost more than someone’s rent, but I won’t settle for clothes that make me feel ordinary.”

When she’s stuck, Marie turns to men’s clothing, often relying on trainers and sportswear from the men’s section when she can’t find anything suitable in women’s sizes.

It’s a trick she picked up from her 6ft 5in mother, who faced the same challenges growing up. “My height has shaped every part of my life from the way I shop to the way I walk into a room,” she said. “I’ve learned to get creative and find what works. I’m proud of my height. I wouldn’t change it for anything.”
