Alina Rose, a 25-year-old model and adult content creator earning $3 million a year, has opened up about the emotional toll of online backlash after spending $32,000 on a “skinny BBL” a less dramatic form of the popular Brazilian Butt Lift.
Despite finally feeling more confident in her body, Alina was blindsided by harsh comments after sharing her post-surgery look online, with trolls telling her she “looked better before” and accusing her of ruining her natural figure.
The procedure, which uses liposuction to transfer fat to the buttocks, was something Alina had considered for years.

Though she was often complimented on her body, she admits she struggled privately with body image, especially as her weight would fluctuate, causing her curves to change.

For her, the surgery wasn’t about seeking attention, but about gaining a sense of stability and control over her appearance.
“I didn’t do this for likes or because I hated myself,” she said. “I did it because I wanted something permanent. Every time I lost weight, my butt disappeared it was disheartening. I just wanted to still look like me, but a version that felt a bit more aligned with who I am.”

Now fully recovered from her April 2025 surgery, Alina continues to share her journey with her 4.5 million followers on Instagram (@alinnarosee). But the reactions haven’t been easy to digest.
While some fans offered support, others accused her of vanity, criticized the risks of the procedure, or claimed she had caved to societal pressure. One follower bluntly asked, “All that for what?” while another suggested she should’ve just gone to the gym.

Alina stands firm in her decision, brushing off claims that the choice was superficial. “People think surgery is about being fake for me, it’s peace of mind. It’s not about becoming someone new, it’s about feeling at home in your body. I still see me when I look in the mirror, just with a bit more confidence.”
She hopes her honesty will shift the conversation about cosmetic surgery, reminding others that even women who appear confident and successful can struggle with body image and that self-love and self-improvement aren’t mutually exclusive.
