A former Starbucks barista who started creating content during the Covid pandemic has revealed how she went from claiming universal credit to earning enough to retire her mum and buy her dream car.
Amber O’Donnell, from Yorkshire, was struggling financially in September 2020 after not qualifying for help from the Government during the pandemic.
The now-successful creator decided to try her hand at financial domination content on Twitter to make extra money, but when it took off she launched an OnlyFans page.

Amber said: “I actually think I’m the complete opposite of all the typical OnlyFans stereotypes.
“My main brand is based around boxing and Pokemon rather than just thirst traps and cringey dance videos.”
Her creative approach has paid off.
She said: “I’m actually a very creative person.
“My brain is constantly looking at my surroundings and thinking of ways to make it into content.”

Amber’s boxing content has taken her around the world, working with major promotions in Hong Kong and Dubai.
She’s even fought in some of the UK’s most prestigious arenas including Wembley, the O2 Arena and 3 Arena Dublin.
On her Pokemon page, she’s carved out a unique niche.
She said: “I have a series where I go around the UK finding the best Pokemon shops and these do really well as it’s something no one has done before and it’s informative for collectors.”
Her success has been life-changing.
Amber revealed: “I managed to retire my mum which was really fulfilling and I’ve managed to get on the property ladder which I never thought would be possible.”
She’s also bought her dream car and now enjoys complete financial freedom.

She added: “I’ve travelled the world, met some great like-minded creators who have become great online friends.”
When Amber first told her family about her career choice, their reaction was overwhelmingly positive.
“My family were really supportive,” she said. “They were shocked at how much money I was making and were happy I was finally financially secure after being on Universal Credit and struggling through Covid.”
Her small circle of friends were equally supportive.
She said: “They were all exciting as OnlyFans was still a new concept at the time so they were so intrigued with how it worked, especially the Findom side of things.”
As for unusual fan requests, Amber has received her fair share.
She said: “Gunging.

“I make a lot of gunge content which is essentially putting slime over my body and head.”
But Amber is keen to dispel myths about easy money in content creation.
She said: “Don’t jump into starting OF unless you’re fully 100% in.
“Don’t just do it because you think it’s easy big money, because it takes a lot of work on social media and behind the scenes to achieve these crazy numbers.
“Most creators earn under $200 a month, so you have to be comfortable with everyone you know finding out about the page and potentially seeing your content even when you’re not earning the big bucks.”
Looking ahead, Amber has ambitious goals. She wants to earn over $1 million and help others who are struggling financially.
But there’s one surprising fact fans might not know about the Yorkshire creator.

She revealed: “I have been an extra in a big Marvel film and I am in a scene with Emilia Clarke.
“I’ve always wanted to be an actress and I’d really like to pursue that still one day.”
For now though Amber is focused on what she does best.
She said: “I want fans to get that I’m just a really normal girl that you could meet in real life.”
