Model Marie Temara, known for her 6ft 3in frame and million-dollar legs, had a brush with danger during a recent trip to the Bahamas after nearly dangling one of her prized limbs into shark-infested waters.
In a viral clip from Compass Cay, where tourists often swim with nurse sharks, Marie is seen perched on the edge of a small boat with one leg hanging overboard, her toes just skimming above the water. Within seconds, three sharks appeared, swimming just inches from her foot.
Despite the close call, the Miami-based influencer remained calm on camera, even breaking into a playful dance as the predators circled.

Speaking to her 2.8 million followers, she admitted, “I knew there were sharks, but I didn’t think they’d come that close. Inside, I was screaming.”

Marie, who reportedly earns $10 million a year thanks to her unique proportions, later acknowledged how narrowly she avoided disaster.
My legs are everything to my career, so it was lucky everything was okay,” she said, adding that she’s now looking into insuring them.
She revealed that a London-based firm quoted her $100,000 annually to protect her legs in case of injury or accident.
Online viewers were both horrified and entertained by the stunt. One wrote, “Beach episode turned thriller,” while another added, “You brave af girl.”
