Model Nyla Caselli has revealed how her transformation into a real life Barbie complete with G cup implants and a high end wardrobe was bankrolled by her millionaire ex boyfriend, who also tried to control every detail of her appearance and lifestyle.
Now, the 23 year old is speaking out to warn other women to recognise red flags early, admitting that what seemed like generosity at first turned into a subtle form of control.
With nearly a million followers on Instagram (@nylacaselli), Nyla says her ex, a wealthy businessman worth $8 million, covered the cost of multiple cosmetic procedures, designer accessories and constant luxury.

But behind the glamorous façade, she began to question whether she was making these choices for herself or to satisfy someone else’s idea of perfection.
“My ex wanted me to look over-the-top all the time,” she said. “He paid to triple my breast size to a G cup, wanted me to have a big bum, and insisted I carry an expensive designer bag everywhere. I wonder if I would’ve even done the surgeries without his influence.”
The breast augmentation was so extreme that Nyla’s body couldn’t physically support the implants, and she had to have a mesh bra surgically inserted inside her chest. But the pressure didn’t stop there.
The model also underwent a $25,000 eye surgery in Turkey to give her a “cat eye” appearance, which she now calls one of the scariest experiences of her life.
“He wanted me to have that sexy, pulled-up feline look,” she said. “But the recovery was terrifying. I couldn’t close my eyes at first. They were so dry and painful, and I honestly thought they were damaged. It took months to recover.”
Throughout their year-long relationship, Nyla’s ex kept tightening his grip — even down to controlling what she ate. “He wouldn’t let me eat French fries,” she recalled. “At the time, I didn’t recognise it as controlling behaviour, but looking back, the signs were all there.”
While she admits she enjoyed the lifestyle from python handbags to fine dining and shopping sprees Nyla says the relationship taught her a critical lesson about independence and self-worth. “He wanted a trophy girlfriend, and I felt like I was becoming what he wanted, not who I really was. A loving partner should love you as you are.”
Now living in a $1.5 million mansion in California’s wine country, Nyla is thriving on her own terms. Earning $1.2 million a year as an adult model, she owns her success and supports her luxury lifestyle, complete with a pool and her three teacup Pomeranians.
“I make a very good living, so I don’t need anyone to pay for anything,” she said. “I still appreciate men who like to take care of their girlfriend, but I’ll never let anyone dictate what I do with my body again.”
As for dating, she’s in no rush. “I’m single right now and pickier than ever as women should be.”
