Alanna Pow traded in long-haul flights and 14 hour shifts for a life of financial freedom and global travel all thanks to a career pivot that’s taken her from cabin crew to online sensation.
At just 22, the former flight attendant ditched her £29,000 a year airline job and now earns around £110,000 a month selling adult content on OnlyFans a move she says was sparked by the very passengers she used to serve.
During her three years in the skies, Alanna says she was constantly approached by travellers assuming she was already in the adult industry.
People would ask me for my OnlyFans before I even had one,” she said. “Some would hand me business cards it felt like I was being recruited mid-flight.”
Realising there might be something to the comparison, she launched a page and it took off instantly. Her audience, which initially consisted mostly of pilots, now spans more than three million followers across social media.
She currently lives in Bali and uses her past life as flight crew to her advantage, incorporating roleplay content and even wearing her old uniform for videos. “It felt so natural,” she admitted. “I never thought I’d hit this level of success, but it suits me perfectly.”
Despite leaving the airline world behind, Alanna has no regrets about her time in a more traditional job, saying the experience helped shape her work ethic. “Those years were important,” she said. “I was doing up to 140 hours a month.
I loved flying, but it completely wrecked my health irregular meals, zero routine, and plane food that was just awful.”
These days, her reality looks completely different. She’s travelled to Africa, South America, Asia, and twice to the U.S. this year alone, all funded by her skyrocketing earnings.
While she enjoys first class when she feels like treating herself, she says she’s just as happy flying economy and prefers to spend money on more meaningful things like buying property and taking care of her family. She’s already purchased one home and is about to close on her second, all while sending money to help her mum live comfortably.
Since her rise to fame, Alanna has also invested around £38,000 in plastic surgery including two BBLs to balance her curves with her naturally large chest, and a nose job in Turkey. “My boobs are the money-maker,” she said. “I just wanted my bum to match.”
As for the whispers from old colleagues, Alanna brushes them off. “Some gossiped when I started on OnlyFans, but I know it’s jealousy,” she said. “I’ve run into a few since and they’re always nice they even slip me free food and drinks.”
While her days of handing out in-flight snacks are behind her, Alanna isn’t slowing down. She’s focused on growing her brand, building generational wealth, and chasing her obsession with seeing the world.
I never thought I’d make this much doing something I love,” she said. “But now, I want to keep going, keep travelling, and make sure my mum never has to worry again.”
