Janaina Prazeres, the model recently named Playboy’s “perfect woman” for her body proportions, has revealed she’s been engaged six times but still hasn’t found lasting love.

The 35-year-old, who has over 60,000 Instagram followers, once dedicated a Playboy cover to Lionel Messi. But with the football icon already married, that romantic gesture didn’t go far.

Frustrated by repeated heartbreak, the São Paulo native decided to turn inward and buy herself an engagement ring worth R$80,000 (£13,000), marking a commitment to self-love.

She explained that being “too beautiful” has complicated her relationships and said the ring represents her independence and a deeper connection with herself. Her past engagements, she admitted, left little but bad memories.

Janaina said her extroverted nature clashed with possessive partners who struggled to accept her lifestyle.

At one point, she even stopped going to the gym because a partner refused to let her go without him. Her bold fashion sense and confidence weren’t welcomed either, leading her to make compromises that only created more problems.

Each of her six engagements ended in disappointment, with most partners betraying her trust.

Now, she’s officially engaged to herself and embracing the idea that a relationship with her own identity and values may be the most stable of all.

She picked the ring without checking the price, wanting it to feel meaningful rather than material. As she continues her journey of self-acceptance, she even jokes that a wedding might be on the horizon just with herself this time.
