Cyprus has unexpectedly taken the global lead as the country with the highest concentration of OnlyFans creators, according to a new report by content platform Supercreator and neither the UK nor the US came close to topping the list.
Despite its modest population of just 1.39 million, the Mediterranean island claims a staggering 3,850 adult creators per 100,000 women, putting it far ahead of much larger nations.
Australia follows in second place with 1,852, while the US home to some of the platform’s top earners lands third with 1,817. Canada and the UK round out the top five, with 1,659 and 1,388 creators per 100,000 women respectively.

The report suggests that Cyprus’ favourable tax environment plays a significant role in attracting digital adult creators.

While OnlyFans takes a 20% cut of every creator’s revenue, Cyprus offers low personal tax rates that can help maximize take-home earnings a major draw for creators looking to secure financial freedom.
Despite this creator boom, however, Supercreator’s CEO Yuval noted that the biggest spenders are still based in the US, UK, and Canada, meaning Cypriot creators often use VPNs or other tools to market themselves to fans abroad.
Among the wave of Cypriot creators is Rexi Stone, a 25-year-old who joined OnlyFans two years ago and now earns around $100,000 a year.

With just 1,700 Instagram followers, Rexi believes her home country’s top spot is well deserved, pointing to a mix of physical beauty, confidence, and a fiercely independent mindset.
“We have the hottest women in the world and a raw sexual energy,” Rexi said. “Rich men come here not just for the fun but also for the tax perks. It’s a small island, so everyone knows everything but that just pushes people to go harder. We’re not ashamed to be ourselves, to own our sexuality, and to profit from it.”
She added that Cypriot creators embrace adult work as a form of self-expression: “I provoke emotion by using my body. That’s power.”

Beyond the creators themselves, the adult content industry is rapidly building infrastructure in Cyprus. Lukas, a German entrepreneur who relocated to the island to run his agency, Boese VA, says the move was strategic.
The business structure here is ideal. The weather’s great. We’ve seen a serious surge in talent and agencies relocating to Cyprus.”
Elsewhere on the global ranking, Denmark surprisingly landed sixth with 678 creators per 100,000 women, while Hungary, Sweden, and Spain filled out the rest of the top 10.

Some countries with more liberal reputations around sexuality, such as France, Italy, and Japan, underperformed on the list. Japan, despite its reputation for hyper-sexual content in manga and anime, only has 65 creators per 100,000 women.
The report underscores how modern adult content creation is no longer confined to the usual suspects. As the industry evolves, factors like taxation, digital infrastructure, and cultural attitudes toward sexuality are shaping where creators choose to live and work and Cyprus, for now, appears to be the unexpected capital of it all.
