Jade Lyne, known online as Barbie Jade, says she looks a decade younger thanks to a new approach to her appearance despite years of trolls mocking her look.

The 29-year-old content creator from Bristol has spent over £8,000 on surgeries and enhancements to embody her real-life Barbie image, but now credits a more natural routine for her youthful glow.

With more than 11,000 Instagram followers, Jade says she’s stepped away from heavy makeup, wigs, and new surgeries, instead focusing on skincare, healthy hair, and tailored beauty products.

I feel I look better now than I did at 19,” she said, adding that ditching wigs and refining her makeup routine, particularly her foundation and eyebrow shape, has made her look visibly fresher and more lifted.

While she’s still fully committed to her “bimbo Barbie” persona, Jade says it’s now about maintenance rather than transformation.

She continues to dye her hair platinum blonde and embraces her signature pink aesthetic in everything from nails to outfits. “The more pink, blonde and Barbie I am, the happier I am,” she said.

Despite being called everything from “clown” to “hideous,” Jade says she ignores online hate. “I don’t get bothered one bit,” she said. “I’m really happy with who I am, how I look, and what I do for work.”
